Delivery/Shipping Methods:
Due to the fragile nature of most of our products, we prefer to deliver our greater Portland, Oregon area gifts through a privately owned courier service. When local delivery is not possible, we typically use UPS. For long distance delivery, we must carefully package each item to insure that your gift will arrive intact and unbroken. There will be an extra "fragile packaging" fee charged for any fragile/breakable gift item(s) being shipped long distance. We must package your gift inside a cardboard shipping box with extra packing materials for protection, so please note that this fee is in addition to the regular shipping amount. Turnaround Time:
Gifts are generally assembled and ready for delivery within 2 - 4 days of receiving your order, however, quite often they will go out the next day. Whenever possible, we prefer to call the recipient ahead of time and alert them to the fact that a certain person is having a special gift personally delivered to them. This of course generates excitement and anticipation in your favor! This scheduling phone call also insures that someone will be at the delivery address to accept the gift when it comes, so please provide us with a contact phone number for the recipient whenever possible. If we have to leave a message, and the recipient does not respond to our message in a timely fashion, naturally this will hold up your delivery.
Delivery/Shipping Fees:
Local courier rates change weekly depending on the cost of fuel. You will be charged the weekly rate according to our courier's policies (currently about $17 for each local greater Portland delivery for a six hour delivery). Ninety minute and three hour rush deliveries are also available for an additional fee. Please call or e-mail for specific courier quotes. UPS shipping rates depend on the size and weight of the gift box and where it is being delivered to.
At this time we are unable to figure long distance shipping costs on this website at the time of ordering, however we hope to offer this service in the future.
